This mount is beyond helpful. I love the telescoping side grips that snuggly hold your phone in place. This is a big improvement over the magnetic option, which always twist, or the elastic option which is difficult to open in order to get your phone in.
First thing to get out of the way, this is not an Apple Pencil or Samsung clone, order this as an item in its own right. I already own an Apple Pencil and it does a great job with my iPad Pro, however it is an expensive item and is tied to the Pro. I wanted a stylus to use across different devices, one I could use for sketching, taking notes in One Note and operating my phone in the cold with gloves on.I tried to use a passive stylus, but they are very hit and a miss on accuracy (actually whether they actually work!) so active works for me. The unit itself comes nicely boxed, with a usb charging cable under the inlay. the stylus is about an inch shorter than the pencil, with a clip. The usb charging point is located under a rubber cap on the clip end. It comes charged. The unit has one button, to turn it on, with an led indicator to show it is on, it turns off automatically. There is no pairing or Bluetooth on this, turn it on and away you go. In the time I have had it I have used the stylus with an iPad Pro, ipad, galaxy note 8 and galaxy tab a 10.1. All respond well with no lag on sketching programs or note taking on one note.As I said earlier, this is not an Apple Pencil or Samsung note stylus, those are tied to devices with dedicated functions, this is for general use on multiple devices.Carry it daily now.
Great stylus pen. Sleak modern design nice weight in the hand. Glides easily across the screen. Works instantly with no set up or app download in notes on iPad 3,4 also been used on iPhone 5s, 6, 6s & 7. Have downloaded some drawing apps to get the most out of it. One which teaches you to draw is pretty good. My Daughters 12 & 15 both enjoying using it. Didn’t have much charge out of the Box but charged to full in a short time with the mini usb cable supplied. Accurate and precise makes your writing look like it normally would pen to paper rather than that of a 5 year old. Nice presentation box too would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves to draw or writes/signs on a tablet on a regular basis.
I like to use products for a good period before writing a review. I've used this extensively for work since purchasing in February 2018. My thoughts below:I have used with iPad Mini, iPhone 6S, iPhone XR. My thought on each included below. This is the best pen/stylus I have used with touch screen devices. I've used others with the clear plastic disc at the nib and a flimsy rubber attachment. There are problems with these items. Firstly, they are often inaccurate, and involve you placing the disc down before the pen will write. I generally work outdoors in sometimes dirty/dusty environments in the film industry and have found that if grit or dust settles on the screen, the disc then drags the grit over the screen, between the disc and the glass, which inevitably leads to scratches on your device. This has a much finer point, almost like a sharpie or similar marker, and is a lot more accurate. As the pen comes to a rubber point, it does not grab grit but moves it out of the way as you move the pen across the screen.I have generally used this as a pen with the iPad Mini, sketching, jotting measurements and inputting details into intricate databases. It has also been very effective at annotating pictures through the markup facility on iOS. For this it worked great. However, I could not get the pen to interact with my iPhone 6S at all. I put this down to the phone having 3D Touch, however, disabling 3D Touch on the iPhone didn't get it to work. Interestingly, having just received a new iPhone XR, it works perfectly.Battery life is good in standby and will last a good few days with heavy use, but does charge very quickly using a Micro USB cable.Overall I would recommend this pen/stylus, having used it extensively for the last 9 months. I'm a genuine customer and happy to answer questions.
It is easy to connect the pen with my iPad and phone, in another word the only thing I need to do is pressing the button. The pen is really convenient to use on the iPad, especially when I am trying to take some handwriting notes in the class.Another thing I like is the automatic power-off function of the pen, it really helps a lot in conserving power. The price of Apple pen is so high, almost 100 pounds. This pen is definitely a cost-effective product compered with others.
it works well and the feeling of use is comfortable. i have used it for one week and there no problems. in addition,i dropped it one time but it still works well!
The highest sensitivity i have founded. I need a sensitive one to do sketching. Overall, it is Effective and very Easy to use. I am very happy with it due to it performance and its quality feels like a real pen. Hopefully, it will last long as the introduction.
I purchased this pen as I wanted to compare it to the original Microsoft surface pen. I only use the pen to annotate documents and to draw sketches for university. This pen works fine for what I use it for and it is much cheaper than the original Microsoft surface pen. I used the pen with and without a glass screen protector and it in no way affected the pen use.Pros:- Long battery life- Eraser and right click button on the pen- Lightweight- Looks nice- LED lightThe pen needs to be charged. With no battery, it took me roughly 4 hours to charge. When the battery is dead the red led light comes on. When it flashes red it means the battery is low, but you still have 12 hours use. When charging, a blue light comes on and once fully charged the light turns off. It says you get 500 hours of continuous use (just under 21 days) and 180 days standby which I think is great. The pen and its features work fine on the laptop.Cons:- Have to charge- Can't change nips- Not magneticThe pen has to be charged but it warns you when you have 12 hours left which is well in advance so isn’t a problem. I personally find it hard to believe the nib will get worn out, but it says you can write over 20km before it starts to get worn out. The pen is not magnetic which is not a big deal, but it has a pen clip on it.Overall it works just as well as the surface pen and does the same job, but this pen is much cheaper! You can also used the pen while it is on charge.
This is an amazing product for anyone who owns any surface device with the pen compatibility. The pen is a must-have accessory and really modifies the experience into something hugely unique and much more productive. I like many others was not ready to dish out the huge asking price for the original and so I decided on this one. It arrived in a professional box similar in quality to the original and in which was the pen. Instructions were provided and its very easy to use. Once turned on you will be able to use it on the surface with no Bluetooth or anything which is very simple. The actual pen works amazingly and is very responsive and brilliant to use. I've used it to make notes perfectly and as im no artist I let my brother draw with it to test it and its amazing for that too. It has a nice feeling against the glass of the surface and works fluidly. It has led lights that are handy in telling you when it should be charged and uses a simple micro-USB to charge which is supplied.Overall, an amazing product that does its job flawlessly at a fraction of the cost. Definitely recommened.
I bought this as a spair pen and I like to get a good bargain I would not go out and pay for a official surface pen as they are too much but I have been very impressed with this pen that I now use it as my main one.I came across this one after a bit of a search and after reading the positive reviews I thought why not for me it was reasonably priced and I could get it next day.The surface pen arrived in a nice black box when it arrived the first thing I did wash to place it on charge I do this so I can get the best out of the products. To charge you simply push the cap on the top of the pen where you will find the usb charging port the first charge did not take the four hours recommended but I think that was because it must have had some charge already. The pen is very sleek looking it is very lightweight and made from good quality materials it looks and feels very durable comfortable to hold whilst working. The sensitivity is excellent the pen moves and stops as it should I was able to draw or write precisely and clearly without any smudges this is much better than the fibre and rubber tipped stylus' and so much easier to use.The pen works well with the screen protector that I have on my surface pro the battery life seems fine as i have only had to charge it a couple of times in the week since I’ve had it and it charges fairly quick too.So far I have been extremely impressed with the surface pen the quality is excellent I could not ask for more and I would definitely recommend this surface pen.
I've been looking for an alternative to the over priced Microsoft Surface Pro pen and it looks like I have finally found a pretty decent alternative. Overall this is value for money. It's working well on my Surface Pro 2017.Positives of the Pen:1) Lightweight and attractive design.2) Easy to write and draw with as it feels like a normal pen in the hand.3) Nib seems far more durable than Microsoft's.4) LED indicator light letting you know when its charging and needs charging (blue and red)5) Charges really fast.6) Value for money.Negatives of the Pen:1) Unlike the Microsoft pen it's not magnetic (the primary reason why I have not given 5 stars).2) It needs to be recharged unlike the Microsoft pro pen.3) Nib cannot be replaced.
